House Painting

In preparation of putting our house on the market, we decided to get the stairs and loft areas painted, along with the living room.  Of course nothing can go completely smooth, so Maggie decided to walk through the paint tray, freak herself out and ran to hide under Colin's bed.  Of course she has white paws to start with so it's a bit hard to see when I've managed to wash all the paint off her paws (which she loved the process of), then spent another hour washing the paint out of the carpet.  Thankfully the carpet cleaned up really well.

As if that wasn't enough excitement, the next day Marvin did the exact same thing.  Though he was completely unaware that he even walked through the paint, and was pretty unfased by having his paws washed... and he was on hard floors, so those were much easier to wash as well.

Once the walls were finished being painted, I got started on repainting all of the trim in the house.  It felt like a really big undertaking, but I actually found it really enjoyable and it made a huge difference in the house.
