First Communion Dress Shopping

It was time to start shopping for Katie's First Communion dress, so Grandma came in town to go shopping with us.  We started at David's Bridal, but because of Katie's size she only had a few options.  She did however fall in love with a full length poofy dress that had a heart cutout in the back.  Next we went to the mall and tried on dresses at Macys, Sears and Penny's.  She found a couple that were OK and we even bought one, but both Katie and I were still dreaming of the first one at Davids and we just couldn't shake it, so we went back and ordered it in her size and returned the one to Macy's.  It was definitely and over the top extravagant dress, but she loved it and I only have one daughter to dress up!  ;)
