Pony Club Quiz Rally 2017

Pony Club Quiz Rally is an annual rally that involves all things horse knowledge, but no riding.  This is also the one rally each year that Katie's club hosts at Pokagon State Park.  This was Katie's first ever rally and her first regional pony club event.  It is an all day event where she goes from room to room with he 4 person team answering questions based on her pony club rating (hers is D-1).  After dinner they calculate all the scores up and pass out ribbons based on the combined scores.  Because of Katie's age and where she was at knowledge wise, she competed as a D-1 mini, which meant that she had the same type of questions as the other D-1's but she would have less options in a multiple choice question or less items that needed matched up in the mega room.  I believe Katie's team (Pony Pals) took 6th place and of the 8 minis, Katie personally took 2nd place.  After awards were done, the girls changed into dresses and they got to dance the night away!
